      How are Bamboo Cotton Swabs eco friendly?

      Made from either single-use virgin plastic or paper conventional cotton swabs are often used for a couple seconds before they are tossed in the trash. They often end up in our oceans or waterways – where they can cause significant damage to animals and ecosystems.

      What are they made with?

      Made from organic bamboo and cotton, these cotton swabs are backyard compostable and decompose naturally once disposed of.

      How to use Cotton Swabs

      Please do not use cotton swabs in your ears. The American Academy of Otolaryngology confirms that the use of cotton-tipped swabs poses a serious risk of damage to the eardrum and ear bones.

      Cotton swabs can be used for applying or removing makeup and touching up nail polish, as well as for household uses such as cleaning and arts and crafts.

      Colourful compostable swabs made my day!

      Just received these and they are exactly what I was looking for. So appreciate that I can put them in the compost and the bright colours look great in the clear container in my bathroom :). I also like that the soft heads stay together really well when I use them. I actually prefer them to my old plastic brand!
