Shipping policy
Reused Packaging
We are serious about reducing our waste and this initiative extends to our shipping policies. We actively source and reuse recycled packaging as much as possible. This means your order may arrive in a previously loved and gently used box or padded envelope. Using recycled packaging is important to us because it conserves natural resources and ultimately keeps our costs down - translating into lower costs for our customers.
Free Local Pick Up
If you're local to or will be visiting St Jacobs and want to pick up your order for free instead of paying for shipping, choose "Pick Up" during checkout. Once your order is ready, we will contact you to discuss a pick up date and time.
Shipping & Delivery Time
We are currently only shipping to Canada and the United States. Orders are processed, packed and shipped within 3 business days. Delivery time is largely dependent on the destination location, but for Canadian customers it's typically 2-4 days after shipping. For American customers, your delivery time is selected during check out and dependent on your location.
Shipping Costs
We offer free shipping for all purchases over $100 CAD and $75 USD as a thank you for supporting our small business.
For purchases under these amounts:
Canadian Shipping:
We use a third party shipping company for the best competitive rates which are calculated based on your purchase size and weight. We find our average orders ship for under $10 using this service.
Additionally, we offer the following flat rates:
- $12 shipping to Ontario and Quebec
- $15 shipping to Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and the Maritime Provinces
- $25 shipping to Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut
American Shipping:
Shipping to the United States is only calculated by weight using USPS, which is typically under $10 because, let's face it, your postal system is just better than ours.
