Goodbye plastic cling wrap!
Beeswax Wraps are the perfect natural food wrap to keep your food fresh for longer. Beeswax wraps act like a second "skin" for your food - they're breathable, washable, reusable, and fully compostable at the end of their lifecycle.
A size for all your needs
Each set comes with 3 convenient sizes:
🐝 Medium: 25 x 28cm (10" x 11")
🐝 Large: 33 x 35cm (13" x 14")
So many uses!
Beeswax wraps can be used to cover plates and bowls of leftovers, fruit, vegetables, bread, cheese, and baked goods. We do not recommend you use them with raw meat, though, as they cannot be washed in hot water.
All Natural Materials
Our beeswax wraps are made with organic cotton, beeswax (which is naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial), pine tree resin (which is naturally antiseptic), and organic jojoba oil (which is naturally anti-fungal).
Beeswax wraps last for a year or more depending on usage and how they're cared for.
How are beeswax wraps eco friendly?
How are beeswax wraps eco friendly?
Beeswax food wraps are a great sustainable alternative to the usual options, as they're natural, reusable, washable, and compostable at the end of their life cycle.
Plastic cling wrap is not compostable or biodegradable, and it isn't convenient to reuse either, as it tears easily and is very awkward to clean and dry.
Tinfoil is definitely not biodegradable, and is only 'kinda' recyclable. It needs to be washed free of contaminates, and one contaminated piece can spoil the entire batch. As well, in some facilities, it needs to be the size of a baseball to be picked up by the automatic machinery.

How to use and care for my beeswax wraps
How to use and care for my beeswax wraps
1) Use the warmth of your hands to soften the beeswax wrap.
2) Fold over top of your bowl, fruit, vegetables, cheese, etc. The wrap will hold its shape.
3) After it's used wash with cool water and gentle soap, then air dry. Remember to avoid heat as that will melt the beeswax.
When your beeswax wraps are worn out, they can be composted or used as a fire starter!

How to recharge your beeswax wraps
If your wraps lose their stickiness or start getting a bit flaky, here's how to recharge them:
- Take your clean wrap and spread it out on a baking sheet. *optional: add additional shredded beeswax on top.
- Place tray into the oven at the lowest temperature.
- Once the wax has melted (careful, this happens quickly!), use a paint brush to evenly spread out the wax, making sure to get the edges.
- Hang to dry.
FAQ
How long do beeswax wraps last?
With proper care, beeswax wraps could last for several years. Always make sure to wash them in cool water with mild soap and hang to dry.
How do I store my beeswax wraps?
To store your beeswax wraps, make sure they're clean and dry, then fold them and store them in a cool, dry place. We store ours in our kitchen drawer, alongside our other reusables, like our zipper sandwich bags, reusable juice pouches, and our silicone food storage bags.
Do beeswax wraps smell?
Because they're made with all natural beeswax, beeswax wraps smell like beeswax.
But it'd be weird if they didn't, right?
Why are they made with jojoba oil and pine resin?
It is possible to have beeswax wraps using just cotton fabric and beeswax, but the additiona of jojoba oil and pine resin improve the 'stickiness' of the wraps for a better seal.
Pine tree resin is also naturally antiseptic, and jojoba oil is naturally anti-fungal.
