Beeswax Wraps are the perfect natural food wrap to keep your food fresh for longer. Beeswax wraps act like a second "skin" for your food - they're breathable, washable, reusable, and fully compostable at the end of their lifecycle.

Each set comes with 3 convenient sizes:

🐝  Small: 18 x 20cm (7" x 8")
🐝  Medium: 25 x 28cm (10" x 11")
🐝  Large: 33 x 35cm (13" x 14")

Beeswax wraps can be used to cover plates and bowls of leftovers, fruit, vegetables, bread, cheese, and baked goods. We do not recommend you use them with raw meat, though, as they cannot be washed in hot water.

Our beeswax wraps are made with organic cotton, beeswax (which is naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial), pine tree resin (which is naturally antiseptic), and organic jojoba oil (which is naturally anti-fungal).

Beeswax wraps last for a year or more depending on usage and how they're cared for.

        Eco Facts

Beeswax food wraps are a great sustainable alternative to the usual options, as they're natural, reusable, washable, and compostable at the end of their life cycle.

Plastic cling wrap is not compostable or biodegradable, and it isn't convenient to reuse either, as it tears easily and is very awkward to clean and dry.

Tinfoil is definitely not biodegradable, and is only 'kinda' recyclable. It needs to be washed free of contaminates, and one contaminated piece can spoil the entire batch. As well, in some facilities, it needs to be the size of a baseball to be picked up by the automatic machinery.

        Ingredients

Made from certified organic cotton, beeswax, pine tree resin, and organic jojoba oil.

        How to Use Beeswax Wraps

        1) Use the warmth of your hands to soften the beeswax wrap

        2) Fold over top of your bowl, fruit, vegetables, cheese, etc. The wrap will hold its shape

        3) After it's used, if needed, wash with cool water and gentle soap, then air dry. Remember to avoid heat as that will melt the beeswax

When your beeswax wraps are worn out, they can be composted or used as a fire starter!

        Better than single-use cling wrap

Cling wrap is an environmental abomination. This is a nice alternative that is also easier to use. I can see this being great for packing lunches.

I can't say enough about how much love these! They perfect to cover that half an onion or pepper I need to put back in the fridge. The large size can even cover a medium sized plate

        Good-bye plastic wrap

I love this product. I was looking for something to help keep my produce fresh. These wraps do a great job without the waste of plastic. I just wrap peeled/sliced/cut veggies and fruit and place them in the fridge. I find them very convenient for wrapping certain foods for on-the-go snacks and lunches. For me, washing a wrap for later reuse took less time than cutting a sheet plastic wrap off from the roll.
